challenge
Our client, a car manufacturer, built a new assembly hall, contracting out all the trades and systems to a variety of suppliers. They needed our help to coordinate stakeholders and maximise the return on their investment by ensuring that the assembly hall was ready to begin production on schedule.
The
solution
Our team developed a realisation management strategy to coordinate the on-time delivery and installation of the trades and systems in the assembly hall. Using Microsoft Project, we developed a programme and schedule, which we coordinated with the client and all suppliers. Our plan was updated daily, and measures were developed and tracked. We oversaw and monitored suppliers, documented progress, and prepared reports for the client with a detailed action plan on an ongoing basis.
